(1) Electronics engineer – BEE position
If you have a good electronics or electrical engineering degree and five years of industrial experience, you will enjoy this technical business development opportunity. You will be knowledgeable and articulate and capable of closing deals from R1/2 million to R20 million at a high level.
The right candidate will have promotion prospects to senior executive level and an equity stake in the company, in addition to the normal salary plus bonus arrangements.
This position is Johannesburg based but travelling will be required. The incumbent will report to the CEO.
Cost to company range: R600 000 to R900 000.
(2) Accountant (Mornings only)
The company requires a part-time accountant to take responsibility for the company’s accounting and reporting, and to assist with commercial aspects such as quoting, banking and forex. This is a hands-on job at a small but growing company.
The successful candidate will have at least a first degree in accounting, and at least 5 years’ business experience. The position will be at the head office in Cape Town. Although initially mornings only, there will be potential for an extension of hours in the future.
The incumbent will report to the CEO and board.
Cost to company range: R360 000 to R600 000 for a mornings-only role.
