Food and health are two important focus areas for the local development agencies that receive support from our shareholder, the Social Change Assistance Trust. One of these agencies is based in the Free State, just outside Bloemfontein.
The Atamelang Cooperative is based in Tweefontein, and was started by community members in response to unemployment, food shortages and the spread of HIV/Aids in the village.
