The Merweville Advice Office is located in the community of Merweville, about 120 km from the town of Beaufort West in the Western Cape. Unemployment was a problem in this community even before the pandemic started, as you will read in their story published by Social Change Assistance Trust (SCAT). The Office helps community members to access social security and is involved in food security programmes, thanks to the support they get from Ditikeni shareholder SCAT.
