Citrusdal is situated at the base of the Cederberg mountains in the Olifants River Valley
about 177 km north of Cape Town. Named after the abundance of citrus fruit farms in
the valley, Citrusdal was established in 1916 by the Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk.
Advice Office: One of their main objectives is to mediate disputes between organisations and their employees. One such case was when, in partnership with the Citrusdal Farmworkers, they successfully represented the farm dwellers of Goedemoed at a CCMA hearing.
