Ditikeni offers two options to assist your business in earning Socio-Economic Development (SED) or Corporate Social Investment (CSI) points for your B-BBEE scorecard.
Firstly, as a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) Ditikeni Trust can offer direct SED points-earning for your scorecard where, through our beneficiaries, we fulfil all of the requirements for SED investment. Your contribution to Ditikeni will qualify your business to earn up to 100% of the available SED points needed to make your business 100% compliant, on the generic scorecard.
As a second option, Ditikeni can facilitate SED investment with any of our fourteen beneficiaries, all of which are non-profit organisations serving black communities at grassroots level. The work they do impacts directly and indirectly on the lives of over 2 million of the country’s poorest and most marginalised citizens. In addition to the SED benefit, many of our beneficiaries can provide a tax benefit through their section 18A status. By making a contribution to one of the verified Ditikeni beneficiaries, you will be eligible to earn up to 100% of the available SED points needed to make your business 100% compliant, on the generic scorecard. Ditikeni can, on request, assist you in selecting an NGO from our broad list, and ensure that agreements, certificates and reporting are efficiently managed. This aims to reduce the hassle factor and realise the maximum value for your company.
Why make a contribution to Ditikeni Trust?
- To meet your B-BBEE scorecard obligations.
- To provide a sustainable solution to communities.
- Possible consolidation of your company’s Socio-Economic Development (SED) and Enterprise Development (ED) contributions in one social cause, to maximise impact.
